Part 1. With the moderate rainfall that came down last week the loamy trails above Pemberton were calling my name. Saturday, Tobin joined Danielle and myself for the always leg exploding climb from the valley bottom to the top of Jack the Ripper.
The "Middle Earth" climb was scenic as ever....

After a few hours of climbing we dropped in.
The rock was borderline greasy no go but we made it work....

Part 2. My friend Eric from Bike n Hike Corvallis Oregon was on an adventure filled tour of the Pacific Northwest last week and decided to come sample what we had to offer.
J.T.R. was so good a only 2 days earlier we decided to hit it up one more time! Mike and I played tour guide for the day.
This time we climbed via the "Super Duty" trail. It seemed easier than "Middle Earth".
