The Diamond Head....

It's difficult to go anywhere in Squamish with out a view of the impressive Mount Garibaldi. I clearly remember the first time I saw it on the way up to Whistler when I was around 12 years old. Now that Danielle and I call Squamish our home it's a part of our daily lives. The old dormant Volcano watching over us.

A few weeks ago we decided to get up close and personal with it so on Saturday we climbed up Cheekye Ridge to it's west flank.

Great views of the Sky Pilot on the way up.

And our community.

Mount Garibaldi.

Alpha.

We found some nice single-track.

The next day we pedalled up Brohm Ridge just one valley over. Slightly different views but just as spectacular.

We got a cool view of Lake Lovelywater.

The Tantalus Range.

And more nice single-track.

And found the fresh burn that's been blowing smoke into Squamish for the past month....
