The knee was a still in questionable condition but my new toy was pushing me hard to see what all the hype was about. I ended up throwing all logic out the window and probably setting the healing process back a few weeks but another Chilcotin loop was conceived. Mike and Brett joined Danielle and I on another fabulous late summer trip in Paradise Creek while the getting was still good.
The toy I was speaking of is the D810. I think it was 2008 when I picked up the D700 so I was overdue for one of the finest Nikon Cameras ever produced.
One of the best things about taps in your kitchen counter are car camping GROWLER fills!
We arrived at the trail head late Friday night on Sept 6th.

We arrived at the tents after 10 hours and enjoyed a beautiful night under the stars. The first truly impressive test on the Nikon D810 was this handheld photo of the moon.
The next morning my knee was paying the price for a 40km loop with some massive climbs. Mike and Brett whipped up a first class breakfast and we set off for home....
