Leavenworth Single-Track and Bier....

May long week-end usually means a great early season session in the South Chilcotin mountains but this year the Hurley FSR took on a new government jurisdiction and there will be no more plowing it as spring arrives. So with that in mind we decided to check off a new one I'd been meaning to get my hands on for some time now. I'd heard the hills above and around Leavenworth, Washington held some juicy single-track gems so we made trip down south.

Day one we spent riding Xanadu and Tres Hombres. Absolutely beautifully sculpted trails among the wild flowers of the Wenatchee Mountains.

The highlight of the trip for me was day two. We did a 45km loop of the Mission Ridge and Devil's Gulch single-track. This one was worth the drive from Squamish!

And after hitting up Rosie Boa in the Freund Canyon area we had a few more Warsteiner's and headed north....
